The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has not officially suspended work visas for unskilled Pakistani workers. However, reports indicate a decline in demand for unskilled labor, leading to fewer visa issuances in this category. The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development has clarified that there are no restrictions on skilled labor visas. Additionally, the UAE now requires Pakistani job seekers to submit a police character certificate when applying for a work visa.
